Finding what are you good at
Hello guys! Today I watched a Ted video "Finding what are you good at" by Drishti Sharma.
In this video, she talked about her life. She's an introverted confident girl she used to be in her childhood. In her schooling, her parents changed her school from state to central. In that school, all her classmates spoke fluently and confidently with the fluency. But she isn't able to speak like them. Her classmates after knowing this make fun of her. They didn't make friends with her.
She shared one incident that once she injured her leg in school on that day her principal came to her classroom. All her classmates got up and wished her but couldn't because of her leg injury. The Principal came to her and asked her the reason why she didn't get up. At the time she was trying to how to say her leg injury. After that, she tried to participate in all competitions in her school. She failed in the competition but at the same time, she lost her conference.
After completing her graduation she got the job. At weekends, she tried different things to find her passion, but she ended up bored with what she tried. After that, she came into content creation. She quit her corporate job. Like that, she sticks to the content.
She shared 3 lessons:
- Believe in yourself.
Believe that you deserve everything in this world. Dream big for yourself. Fight for yourself. Fight for your dream. Then once you believe that give your 100% to achieve it. Try to work hard for that. - Be curious.
Try to learn as much as things like reading books, talking to different people, learn different lifestyles of people. - Follow your heart but don't forget to use your brain.
Take a calculated risk by making a plan.
